As one of the the top community-based organizations in Atlanta, we take pride providing responsible, accountable,and experienced leadership in all of our youth programs.We lead by example!

Managing our day-to-day operations and coaching one of DP’s successful travel baseball teams is our GM, Coach Royal “Blue” Maxwell.Coach Blue has significant experience in building successful sports programs as he is also the head coach of the powerhouse East Coweta Boys Varsity Basketball Team.Coach Blue is a great role model for our athletes and is dedicated to our mission of Promoting Leadership and Youth Success through sports.

Double PLAYS would like to welcome Coach Quintavious Drains and Coach Theo Tramontana to our family. Coach Drains was a 4-year starter at Mundy’s Mill High School and received a scholarship to Jackson State University where he went on to earn multiple awards including the SWAC Pitcher of the Year (2010, 2012) and First Team All SWAC (2009-2012). Coach Drains also holds the record for most wins in Jackson State baseball history and had the most wins in the nation from 2011-2012. After his college career, Coach Drains was drafted and played in the Anaheim Angels organization. Coach Drains also has collegiate coaching experience as a pitching, catching, and infield coach.Coach Theo was a 4-year starter at Albany State where he excelled as an infielder and relief pitcher.

Coach Theo is the owner of Hybrid Athletix Fitness & Performance and serves as DP’s lead athletic and performance trainer.
